Dedicated to the ones who have found refuge at Zephyr

In a landscape adorned with milkweed and zephyranthes blossoms, each wall serves as a window into which we witness a long-awaited change. Here, we observe the stages in the renewing of life.

A caterpillar looks on with anticipation as the zephyr blue butterfly emerges from its chrysalis, wings expanding in gratitude for this new beginning. After such vigorous determination, it adjusts to its new environment while gathering its breath; this kind of transformation takes great will, effort, stamina, and heart. With an unrelenting hope, it catches the momentum of a west wind, its wings beat upon freedom before easing into the calm of the day.

As we settle home, may we always remember from whence we came. Here at Zephyr, our neighbors from all walks of life find rest. This work serves as a prayer for peace in our immediate environments, a pause in our fluttering minds, and a stillness that dwells in our strengthening hearts. In this quiet, we persist in patience as transformation has her perfect way.
