Public Works of Art

I am immensely grateful to have been offered opportunities to contribute to our communities through the murals and site-specific installations that help tell the stories of our environments. As a curious storyteller, these projects have granted me wide open doorways through which to enter boldly, research carefully, and sink deeply into the histories and stories that drive the work that is dedicated to the story of us.

As a young, blossoming artist, I spent my formative years dedicated to large-scale paintings so that I could lose myself in them. [I’m 5 feet tall, so I enjoyed creating, then losing myself in the environment of a 5 x 6-foot painting]. I’m utterly inspired by the ways in which public art can envelope the creator and observer in grand scale and massive fields of color, from which narratives can bloom generously.

Thank you to everyone who has graciously invited me to help transform their spaces, and in doing so, serve our communities through reflection, beauty, and art.
