I’m looking forward to preparing for this show at University Art Gallery which opened in 1978, the same year that I was born. I’ll be showing alongside a group of Asian women artists, who are to be announced. More information on the show and related program to be announced.

Peace be to this House

Exhibition Dates: March 5-6, 2026
For the fourth year, I will be returning to our nation’s capital to continue building upon this participatory, performative installation called Peace be to this House. I’ll be inviting guests to consider the characteristics of an ideal home before contributing those words to the immersive structure through hand stitching as we build upon this hope together. Touching on themes of migration, and how we go about adjusting to not only where home is, but also what home is, it continues to collect more notions of home from our diverse communities.
I have found great joy in this annual project, and am so grateful for the chance to offer these projects to our community!
